Dinner in London is always a treat and last week I finally visited one of the restaurants that had been on my London bucket list Treehouse Hotel.
Treehouse Hotel London is located in Marylebone and offers world-class views of the London Eye, The Shard, Canary Wharf, and Regent’s Park and also offers guests a chance to drink at
The Nest Rooftop Bar, dine at Madera London, fuel up at Backyard coffee shop, or stay below in one of their beautiful bedrooms.
“Treehouse Hotel was founded on the ideas that inspire a child to build a treehouse. Adventure, independence, cozy spaces and repurposing crafty things are what make a place warm and special. That’s why every Treehouse Hotel celebrates found objects, nostalgic tunes, handmade details and locally sourced treats.” – Treehouse Hotel
We decided to dine at the reimagined Mexican restaurant Madera, on the top floor of this iconic hotel. The restaurant pairs bold flavours with organic ingredients with spectacular 360-degree skyline views.
Madera at Treehouse Hotel London offers unique interpretations of Mexican food and cocktails served across breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. We headed to Madera for dinner, before heading to the theatre for a show later that evening.
Arriving at 6pm we were shown to our table, perfectly placed next to the window, with some iconic views across the city. We first ordered a bottle of the BODEGA VERDE MACABAO BLANCO (£40 per bottle) which was amazing, light-weight and perfect for the meals we were ordering too.
madera salad, with green beans, hearts of artichoke, baby heirloom tomatoes, red onion, toasted pine nut, chia seeds, quinoa, california plum tossed in our signature spicy dijon vinaigrette (£16.00), with a side of their famous street corn (£6.00).
Whilst my friends both ordered the chef’s enchiladas soft corn tortillas served w/ black beans w/ beef chorizo & coriander lime rice, topped w/ stinging nettle cheddar w/ tomatillo coriander chile sauce free-range chicken mixiote (£25.00)
If I hadn’t order the madera salad, I would have ordered the fajita bowl black beans w/ beef chorizo, coriander lime rice, grilled peppers & onions, guacamole, vegan chipotle crema, pico de gallo grilled free-range chicken breast as this sounded AMAZING!

Overall, we had an amazing meal and I would 100% return to Madera at another time and also enjoy a drink in The Nest. It was a beautiful restaurant, with a great atmosphere and even better food. I could have ordered more options off the menu, so I will have to return soon and try more of the dishes.
