THE LOCATION
For Outdoor Adventure Girls – BIG WEEKEND #3 we are heading to the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
Situated on the west coast of Britain, covering 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park is a living, working area, and is home to over 26,000 people. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in England and Wales.
The park’s historic Snowdon Mountain Railway climbs to the summit of Wales’s highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland. The park is also home to an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and craggy peaks like Cader Idris and Tryfan.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the weekend is YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass, located sits at the foot of Mount Snowdon, giving adventure lovers a head start up the mountain.
What they lack in mobile signal, they make up in fabulous décor and comfy places to relax after your hike, with friends. Groups can spread out in their stylish lounge or enjoy a drink from the licensed bar. The accommodation has an array of options but for this weekend we will be hiring an array of 4-bed and 6-bed dorms for our group.
If you would like to have your own room, this is an option, but comes with a single supplement of £30 per person, per night (see below). Limited single rooms available.

**For those wanting to do the Velocity 2 or Fforest Coaster at Zip World this is then your time to do it. This needs to be booked by yourself here.

Saturday lunch – bring a packed lunch for the hike up Snowdon

Terms and conditions
To book your spot on this trip you must make payment of £300 via the OAG website. If the weekend is cancelled by us due to circumstances either in or out of our control, you are entitled to a full refund (this includes if we go into lockdown because of the pandemic). If you need to cancel your place on the trip in the four weeks prior to the trip taking place, you will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid (£150). If you need to cancel your place on the retreat in any less time than 4 weeks before the retreat taking place, you will not receive a refund. Each member who attends are attending at their own risk. Outdoor Adventure Girls UK and the event organiser does not accept responsibility. Your data (information you give as part of booking the trip) will be stored for the basis of this event only and all information and personal data will be deleted within 30 days of the event ending. It will not be shared with anyone else and is to ensure you are safe during the trip.
