We are off to the Bath for Outdoor Adventure Girls weekend #8
Outdoor Adventure Girls big weekends are designed to give you the time to reconnect with yourself, get outdoors in nature and connect with other women.
We now host OAG retreats all over the UK throughout the year, this being our second weekend away, with more to come in 2022.

Outdoor Adventure Girls – BIG WEEKEND #8 Bath

THE LOCATION
Bath
Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths.
Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times with both the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in.
Bath’s compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain, making it the ideal city break. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, and enjoy year-round festivals, theatre, music and sports.

THE SCHEDULE
Please note that this is subject to change, but will give you an idea of what to expect.
An itinerary will be sent to all booked guests one month before the event, with all details needed to attend the weekend.
There is also a WhatsApp chat for all attendees to plan car sharing and chatting before.

Friday 2 December
5pm onwards: CHECK IN to YHA Bath
+ meet your fellow OAG guests and grab a drink from the bar inside the hostel
7pm: Welcome from OAG with ice-breaker
7:30pm: Welcome dinner
8.30pm onwards: FREE time

Saturday 3 December
7.30am: Breakfast at YHA Bath
8.30am: Meet in reception
9am: Group Bath Skyline circular walk in Christmas-themed fancy dress (10km – approx. 3-4 hours)
Admire the skyline hills above Bath and beyond via this amazing circular walk through meadows and ancient woodlands.
1pm – 7pm: Bath Christmas Markets
(We will suggest breaking into smaller groups to wander around the Christmas markets and then we can meet up every few hours)
7.30pm: Dinner
8.30pm: FREE time (hang out at the hostel with friends, or head back out to the Christmas markets)

Sunday 4 December
8.00am: Breakfast at YHA Bath
9.00am: Check out
10am: 1 x additional activity TBC
1pm: Lunch at a local restaurant
3pm: DEPART

THE ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the weekend is the stunning YHA Bath. With large private gardens, YHA Bath is set in a stunning Italian-style mansion, 10 minutes’ walk from Bath city centre. It offers affordable accommodation, laundry facilities and a restaurant.
Each morning hearty cooked breakfasts are served in the dining areas, which also offers home-cooked meals in the evenings. The TV lounge has lovely garden views, comfortable sofas and a TV. The bar serves a variety of drinks including local ales, and Wi-Fi access is available in public areas of the property.
Our accommodation for the trip will be in 4-bed and 6-bed dorms, exclusive to our group.
NOTE: There is NO car parking at this hostel, you will need to arrange car parking yourself, or we suggest travelling to Bath via public transport.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Travel to and from the weekend
Saturday lunch is not included as we will be out and about – we will be able to grab lunch as we are exploring the Christmas markets.

An itinerary will be sent out to all guests four weeks before the trip, which will include all details you will need to attend the weekend, including a link to a Whatsapp group so you can chat to your fellow guests before the weekend and plan car sharing.
