Last January I decided to kick start my health journey by starting on Protein World Slender Blend Plan. I’ve done a ‘before’ photo and I’ve had my measurements are taken, as well as my weight.

I am on a 14-week plan, before I head off to St Lucia, and hope to hit my goal by then! This is my slender blend reviews…

The pack came with an array of products including 2 x of the Slender Blend Plan protein powders, 2 porridge pots, 20 x Slender Bars, an array of capsules, 1 x Slender Tea, weekend helper packets, 1 x Shaker, 1 x Protein World Slender Blend Plan Guide and 5 x packets of protein pancake mix. A huge bright yellow box arrived at the door and I couldn’t wait to get started.

The Slender Plan is a four-week plan incorporating a variety of Protein World products to support your weight loss. Includes the aforementioned the Slender Blend and breakfast options include porridge and pancakes, snacks and boosters, which we will discuss shortly, as well as some additional free goodies!

The Slender Plan has options to allow you to tailor your journey to meet your dietary requirements and preferences and is suitable for anyone looking to lose weight using a combination of products from the full Protein World range.

Within this you can select vegan-friendly products including their Vegan Blend and Vegan Pancakes to support you with a plant-based kickstart to your weight loss journey.

In addition to being provided with enough products to support you over a four-week period, you also receive the Slender Guide which is a book put together by the team of PW nutritionists offering product-specific advice, general weight loss and nutrition tips, recipe ideas and workouts.

 

January – February 

The first month was fairly easy, as I had started back in personal training and with the new year in full swing, I decided to eat healthily for the whole month of January.

I started by having a protein shake with red berries every morning to give me a pick me up (I don’t drink caffeine so needed something), and then I had a meal prepped for lunch, a Slender Bar for a snack mid-afternoon, before eating a lean meal in the evening which was usually chicken with salad.

Its worth mentioning here I didn’t do the formal slender plan to exact requirements as I wanted to ensure I didn’t change my diet and life drastically only to put the weight back on when I slowly started going back to a normal diet.

There my four-week plan lasted me around two months instead. I loved the Protein World’s the Slender Blend Plan.

February – March

As the month rolled on by it started getting harder and I started slipping in to bad habits, as birthdays came and passed, I was snacking unhealthily again, and we had a few weeks in March where I was suffering with stress due to work and blog, and my anxiety suffered because of it.

In order to make myself feel better my healthy diet slipped and we ended up eating takeaways and pizza a lot.

At this point I had also run out of my product, so was finding it hard to find an alternative to substitute – I decided to place another order of the items I had enjoyed using the most, this being the Slender bars, protein powder and protein pancake mix.

It’s worth noting here I didn’t really use the capsules, I am not sure why I chose not to, but for me, I didn’t feel right using them. I loved using everything else but when it came to the capsules they weren’t for me.

So far since starting this holistic programme I have lost 10lbs, have improved my core strength through Personal Training, became more active and have improved my overall health.

I now have four weeks until St Lucia and have upped the training regime, and I am now eating the healthiest I’ve ever eaten in order to reach my goal of 12.5 stone by May….

Overall I had a really great experience on the Protein World Slender Blend Plan and I lost around 1 stone (13 lbs) over the 4 weeks. I found having it set out for me really helped and supported me in achieving my goal. I hope you enjoyed my Protein World reviews.
