Last week I went on the ultimate UK road trips, first stopping in the Peak District, before heading to Yorkshire for a stay at Rockliffe Hall, and then on to Scotland for a road trip.
But our most relaxing and luxurious time was spent at the stunning 5* hotel Rockliffe Hall & Spa.
Rockliffe Hall & Spa is a stunning 18th-century redbrick mansion set in 375 acres of grounds with 5* restaurant, an award-winning spa and 18 holes championship golf course. The hotel was beautiful from the moment we arrived, heading down the long road lined with trees to the front of the main building where a valet met us and took our bags and parked the car.
The best bit about Rockliffe Hall (in my opinion) is the spa! Rockliffe Hall features 50,000 square feet of spa and treatment facilities and you can laze around in the 20m pool, enjoy the bubbling hydrotherapy pool or unwind in the spa garden (this bit has to be booked in advance!)
Oh, and it is also the only spa in the North-east to offer treatments from exclusive French beauty company, Caudalie. During our stay, I had a gorgeous two-hour Himalayan Splendour treatment. The dreamy treatment is their signature and is a top to toe rejuvenation that will leave you feeling calm, restored and revitalised.
The award-winning spa provides the perfect environment to relax, unwind and indulge in a luxury spa break or spa day and that’s certainly what we did throughout our stay.
And after a relaxing spa experience, we thoroughly enjoyed heading back to our hotel bedroom, which was located in the older part of the hotel.
The bedrooms are all unique, decorated differently in each room, with some located in the old building and some in the new hall. The 61 bedrooms offer luxury bedding, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities and some of them have balconies and fireplaces. The bathrooms also come kitted out with the amazing NEOM toiletries products, which I loved using!
And if that wasn’t enough, Rockliffe Hall is one of our favourite places to go for dinner. In the evening we would head down to The Orangery for dinner and opted for their tasting menu.
Every time we stay at Rockliffe Hall, we are always blown away by the luxury, the comfort, the service, the detail, the food, and the chill-factor.
It’s one of our favourite places in the world, which is why I am SO EXCITED to be able to host this amazing competition with Rockliffe Hall…
