I have been a big fan of buying my beauty products on the internet for a long time and when I stumbled across Gorgeous Shop I was delighted to find a store where I could order all of my favourite beauty products in one place.
Because I travel so much, it’s vital for me to be able to buy everything I need for an upcoming trip and get it fast. I travel sometimes up to twice a month, flying off to various places around the world, and by using Gorgeous Shop, this dream became reality.
Founded in 2007, Gorgeous Shop is home to hundreds of luxury brands, including the likes of bareMinerals, ELEMIS, St. Tropez, Decléor, ghd, Kérastase and Redken. Gorgeous deliver the hottest must-haves direct to your door and also offer some great discounts and exclusive offers.
I’ve pulled together my favourite products from gorgeousshop.co.uk, products that I know and love and have used for years, but also products I tried for the first time as recommended by the Gorgeous Shop team.
And as a thank you for being such wonderful friends and followers, I have a competition running alongside this edit, for you to win a £50 voucher for Gorgeous Shop. To enter simply keep reading and enter at the end. And if you’re not lucky enough to win the voucher, there’s also a discount code exclusive to you. Simply pop the discount doe ‘GSXSophie‘ at the checkout….
HAIRCARE
Nioxin 3-Part System Kit 3 for Colored Hair with Light Thinning
I have been using Nioxin for as long as I remember, first going in to salon when I was at university and then buying their system kits when I realised I couldn’t uphold the price of the treatment in the salon each month, then I stumbled across Nioxin on Gorgeous Shop, for a fraction of the cost.
One of the improved 3-Part System Kits that enable women and men to have thicker, fuller hair without ever compromising on colour, the formulas feature NEW Pro-Shield Technology for enhanced colour protection and colour longevity. Based on an advanced skincare approach, the specially formulated products work as a hair thickening treatment, volumizing and strengthening hair with light thinning. BUY HERE
L’ANZA KB2 Daily Clarifying Shampoo
I am constantly on the go, which often means I do not look after my hair enough. I am either on the tube in London, on a flight to Sweden or being active in the Lakes. And despite having lots of fun, my hair often suffers! I always have a bottle of L’Anza KB2 Daily Clarifying Shampoo to hand for the days when I need to feed my hair with goodness.
L’Anza KB2 Complex contains Keratin Protein which heals and strengthens hair. The unique blend of organic botanicals and antioxidant vitamins leaves hair soft, shiny and radiant. L’Anza KB2 Daily Clarifying Shampoo deeply cleanses your hair of all product build up and daily grime without stripping hair of its natural defences. With keratin bond system 2™ which contains advanced healing ingredients to repair, replenish and strengthen hair. BUY HERE
BODYCARE
Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub
Like with my hair, I also need to spend more time looking after my skin, especially my body. I have never been one for scrubbing and moisturizing (much to the dislike of my best friend who swears by it!) and only as I reached 26 years old did I start getting dry skin on my legs. To combat this I grabbed a pot of Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub.
The formula contains a variety of natural ingredients including grape-seeds, grape-seed oil, Gironde honey, essentials oils of lemon and others. Coarse granules included in this formula exfoliates leaving the skin nourished and smooth. BUY HERE
Natural Sea Sponge Linen Spa Mitt
And to go alongside my Caudalie Scrub, I also popped a Natural Sea Sponge Spa Mitt in my basket so really get use of out the scrub. This product is perfect for at-home spa treatments, using high quality French linen for deep cleansing. The Natural Sea Sponge Professional Linen Spa Mitt is a medium/hard texture ideal for buffing away impurities and dead skin cells to provide soft, healthy skin. I have loved this mitt and it’s one of the best I have tried. BUY HERE
Burt’s Bees Anti Blemish Pore Refining Scrub
And I couldn’t leave my facial skincare out, so I grabbed myself a product from one of my favourite brands Burt’s Bees. The Burt’s Bees Anti Blemish Pore Refining Scrub is a stimulating face scrub that deeply cleanses the skin and removes dirt, impurities and excess oil.
As I am on-the-go a lot I get acne as an adult a lot and this product helps me clear my skin. The scrub penetrates the skin removing dead skin cells and encouraging skin cell renewal for a fresh, clear and radiant complexion! Enriched with Salicylic Acid that is naturally derived from Willow Bark, the scrub treats blemishes and prevents future breakouts. BUY HERE
BEAUTY
bareMinerals Lash Domination
I’ve never been adventurous with my mascara and tended to always go for the same every time (usually Rimmel) but when I spoke to a friend recently after I’d admired her eyelashes all evening she recommend trying out the bareMinerals Lash Domination mascara. Bloody hell it’s good!! Volume you can see, and power you can feel… The product is a 10-in-1, volumizing, lengthening, thickening, separating and long wearing mascara, complete with ProTwist180 Wand designed to curve around each lash to coat all angles with a deep, luxurious black colour. BUY HERE
OTHER
Tisserand Little Box of Sleep
Tisserand is another of my favourite brands, and a brand that has helped me through some of my worst mental health crises. I use Tisserand on a day-to-day basis for energy, focus and sleep and this little package from them is the perfect product for dealing with those sleepless night. The collection of pulse point roller balls are the simple steps you need to help you get a good night’s sleep, including 1) Pause Roller Ball 10ml – A blend of Orange, Petitgrain and Coriander, 2) Sweet Dreams Roller Ball 10ml – A blend of Lavender, Sandalwood and Jasmine and 3) Comfort Roller Ball 10ml – A blend of Orange, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang. My absolute essential for any trip! BUY HERE
Caudalie Rose de Vigne Fragrance
I mentioned Caudalie above, and I’ll mention it again here as it’s a favourite of mine, offering affordable luxury products from head to toe. The Caudalie Rose de Vigne is another great product, a perfume with a sparkling and fresh fragrance, infused with sharp, beautiful notes of rhubarb and the delicate aroma of the Bordeaux vineyard roses. I pack this with me everytime I head out the door and it provides me with a fresh smell all day long. BUY HERE
