Location

Atmosphere
The atmosphere at the hotel was as any city budget hotel would be, there was simply an entrance hall which led to lifts and stairs and then you went to your room.
Next door there was a Revolutions Bar which meant it was quite lively outside the hotel and often at night it was a little loud but we found it wasn’t too bad and actually the seagulls were more annoying outside the window than the drunk people falling out of bars.
And of course, if you stay in a city you have to accept that it is going to be loud simply because of the amount of people around. I felt very safe at the hotel and its central location meant the minute you stepped outside the hotel you hit the real atmosphere.

Food and drink
There are no facilities for food and drink in the hotel but just outside sits an array of bars, restaurants and cafes. Next door you have Revolutions, down the road Loch Fyne and a variety of cocktail bars hidden away on the small streets.
One thing we did do though was getting the breakfast boxes they offer you as you check-in, we don’t usually do this but for a weekend break, it is a really good way to get in breakfast so you can tackle the day ahead of you.
They included yoghurt, a drink, a muffin and some cereal. Really worth the money!
Value for money
Double rooms from Β£40 in low season; rising to Β£60 in high. Breakfast excluded. Free 30 minutes Wi-Fi.
Overall
We had a great stay at Bath Central, they were really kind, left me some magazines on the bed to read during my stay and the central location that Travelodge’s tend to be in mean that you can really enjoy the city as soon as you step outside the door. I would stay here again!
