Monthly Favourites – November #19

What a month, and bonus: it’s nearly Christmas! November I spent the month working my ass off ahead of my second CIM exam in December, visited Christmas markets in London and Buckinghamshire, visited my favourite European city Amsterdam with Theo, and started working out my annual leave allowance for 2019. What did you get up to?

World Travel Market – I had a mad few days visiting the one and only World Travel Market in London in November. I also caught up with some of my best pals, Emily, Sandy, Chloe, Tara, Debonita, Alice, Tom, Christianne and many more. It was a tiring, but fun-filled few days. I had meetings with tourist boards, secured some trips for 2019 and headed out for dinner and drinks whilst I was in the city.

A weekend in Amsterdam – For my birthday in July, Theo bought me return flights to my favourite city in Europe, Amsterdam! We headed out to the city for three days of exploring, by foot, bike and canal. Over the last few years, Holland has become like a second home to me. I have visited Amsterdam regularly to different areas and each time I have fallen in love with the Dutch way of life. I love the atmosphere, the people, the buildings and just the general culture of Amsterdam in particular. 48 hours is a great amount of time to spend in Amsterdam if you have visited before, however, if it is your first visit then I suggest a 3 days in Amsterdam to get a real chance to see the city. 10 of the Best places to eat Brunch in London – Brunch in London has become a weekend tradition for many over the years, both as a way to socialise and catch up with friends, but also to make the most of late morning rising, and grabbing a hearty breakfast. And in Brunch in London is now an institution, with thousands upon thousands of London dwellers heading to their favourite spots all across the city, for a avocado on toast, or a bloody mary. Getting festive at Waddesdon Manor – I attended Waddesdon Manor’s Christmas Market again last weekend for the third time. It’s now become a Christmas tradition visiting Waddesdon. We love wandering around the market stalls, eating lots of food, trying samples from the stalls and exploring the house and gardens. We also headed to the wine shop where we bought all of our wine for the festive period.

I am running a competition where you can WIN £50 Primark Voucher – To say the autumn and winter fashion trends are tempting is a massive understatement. I love the fashion at this time of year; we go from bright, summer colours, to mellow orange hues, big coats, black jeans and comfortable boots. There really isn’t any better season for fashion! I have been planning for this season since September, and I put away my summer clothing as soon as I stepped off the plane back from Pisa. Trends this season include orange jumpers, animal print dresses, boots, long coats, trainers and shoulder bags, to name a few. I’ve just returned from a trip to Amsterdam and in order to pack accordingly to weather I decided to head to my local shopping centre MK1 Shopping Park in Milton Keynes to search out some of this season’s best trends. MK1 Shopping & Leisure Park is one of my favourite and most regular places to shop, offering free parking (always important) and an amazing selection of shops including top fashion brands such as M&S, Primark, River Island, H&M and Outfit, making it one of the best retail parks in the region. In collaboration with MK1 Shopping Park I am giving away a £50 Primark Voucher for you my readers…. ENTER HERE
