Holidays in Dorset Durdle Door

A weekend with my BBFs in Dorset

At the beginning of the summer and my best friends headed down to the coast for a weekend by the sea and a well-needed catch up. For our holidays in Dorset, we stayed just outside the beautiful town of Bridport, in an adorable cottage on a working dairy farm, through accommodation provider Classic Cottages. We spent the weekend driving around Dorset, up and down the coastal roads, spending the morning at Durdle Door, the afternoon at Lulworth Cove, and then sunbathing in the sunshine in the morning at Hive Beach Cafe just down the road – – – > READ MORE

Staying in a cottage on a working dairy farm with Classic Cottages

The cottage was perfect for our adventure in Dorset, and provided us with a great base to explore both Dorset and beyond. For our weekend by the sea, we decided to take a relaxed approach to exploring, heading out to the eastern tip of the county on the Saturday, heading back west, through Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, and then on Sunday we explored the villages around Bridport, before heading on to the west coast, and exploring the towns around Axminster – – – > READ MORE

A stay at Imperial College Summer Accommodation

I love London, always have and always will. I regularly feel extremely lucky to have such an iconic and magnificent city on my doorstep. London is one of the most prestigious cities in the world and it certainly has a lot to offer tourists, but what about those of us who live close by, and want to explore without the crowds and chaos? London is home to historical sights, world-class shopping, top-notch sporting, and wild nightlife. I’ve done the tourist attractions multiple times, and when Theo and I decided to head to London last weekend we decided instead to head west and explore the region of South Kensington. Here is my guide to exploring South Kensington and how best to spend 2 days in London, if it’s your first time in the city or you’re back for more – – – > READ MORE

Choosing my wedding stationary with Theo and we ordered our Save The Dates

If you didn’t know already – I GOT ENGAGED! You need to check this post out from January to read all about the proposal, but also keep an eye on more posts like this one called THE WEDDING DIARIES, if you are engaged or getting married soon. I will be documenting my entire journey throughout this mad process, from the engagement right up the honeymoon. One of my favourite things to do in life is organise, so wedding planning is one of my favourite activities at the moment. From excel spreadsheets, to venue visits, and from wedding dresses to choosing my stationery supplier, I am in my element. I have been so excited to start planning my colour schemes, fonts, stationary and decorations, and choosing my wedding stationary has been something I have been excited about since the beginning. Now that we have booked our venue, agreed on our guest list and established a basic theme, me and Theo have started the task of choosing our wedding stationary and we’ve opted to go with the wonderful team at Atelier Rosemood! – – – > READ MORE

Signing up for food delivery from Hello Fresh

I’ve just started getting a weekly order of food from my favourite home delivery service Hello Fresh, so I thought I would do a little recipe from one of the meals I received this week. As most of you know, when you order from Hello Fresh, you pick three meals (or however many you want each week being delivered) from an extensive list of recipes. This week I chose Asian Jewelled Rice with a Coriander Drizzle, Chilli Con Carne, and Turkey Mince Stir Fry. But the one I was most excited for was the Indonesian Rice because its one of my favourite countries in the world, with some of the best food in the world – – – > READ MORE

Save yourself a whole lot of cabin luggage allowances stress and potential additional charges when boarding by checking dimensions and weight restrictions before you travel. A Weekend in Vienna

Vienna is the beautiful capital city of Austria and was one of the first European countries that I explored as a teenager on a trip to the capital with school. I then returned a few years later as an adult, and explored this wonderful city even further. Vienna is the largest city of Austria and also one of the historic cities through which the river Danube has passed along since time immemorial. The city has much to offer with imperial architecture, street-side cafes, coffee shops galore, cathedrals, open parks and green spaces, and the city also has a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites that are worth visiting. It’s more than possible to explore this compact city in 48 hours and make sure you grab yourself a Vienna Pass too, which you can pick up at the airport and then see as much as Vienna as possible. So what are you waiting for? Keep reading to find out about our 48 hour Vienna Itinerary. This post includes travel tips, sightseeing and hotel guide for a perfect 2 day Vienna Itinerary. —> READ BLOG POST

7 Reasons to go on a Cruise

As you may know already I love a cruise. I’ve been on two now, one around the Med and one recently around the British Isles, and I am planning a third for sometime next year. Nowadays, the number of destinations you can reach in the world with very little effort is amazing and countries such as New Zealand are now only a flight (or two) from home. However once you land at your selected destination you needn’t stay put or only travel by car or train, instead opt for a cruise, as it is the perfect way to explore an area of the world in a short amount of time. Remote parts of the world are accessible with a cruise like never before, giving you and me the chance to explore new places every single day and learn about new cultures. There are some amazing luxury and last-minute cruise deals which are not only great value; they also give you the opportunity to visit multiple destinations in one trip. And if you hate flying, cruising is also a great way to keep travelling, as you can also go on a cruise that sails from Southampton. —> READ BLOG POST
