Making a Festive Gingerbread Houses with PANDORA

At the end of last month I headed down to London again for an evening in Covent Garden at the Ivy Market Grill for a festive evening with PANDORA making Gingerbread Houses.

My evening got off to a great start when I bumped in to my fellow Milton Keynes blogger Jasmine from My Lifes a Butterfly at the train station in Milton Keynes, and we ended up being seated next to each other too! It was lovely to catch up with Jasmine and find out what she had been up to over the past few months.

Set in the most beautiful venue in London, the evening consisted of a gingerbread making class, alongside a chance to meet the lovely ladies from PANDORA and chat to some friends. We were all seated around a large dining room table, and in front of us were all the bits we would need to make our very own Gingerbread House, taught by a lovely lady at the front, who was a pro at making and decorating these stunning creations.

We were provided with the initial elements (walls and icing), before letting our creativity run wild with coloured icing, silver balls, trinkets, sprinkles and much more. I really enjoyed making the gingerbread house as it allowed me to be ultra creative, lining the walls with white icing, to give the house a snow-covered effect. And I then stuck to two main colours silver and green for the decorations. I piped a green festive wreath on the front of my house around the PANDORA logo, and then also added some leaves at the back. I then used the silver to add a touch of luxury to my house, and of course on brand with everything PANDORA!

I have loved PANDORA for as long as I remember, and it’s a brand which has always stood out to me for being unique and special. For my 21st birthday the girls from university got me a ring and I’ve worn it ever since. It’s incredibly special to me, not because it cost a lot, but because of what it means to me. They’ve also got some amazing collaborations with brands like Disney! You can also celebrate the season with festive new PANDORA jewellery.

It was such a lovely evening and as we were leaving the lovely PANDORA team gave up some treats from the PANDORA festive jewellery range. I will be wearing these at Christmas!
