I seem to start every monthly newsletter by saying this but, September was busy! At the beginning of the month I spent 24 hours in London with Theo, enjoyed afternoon tea at The Langham, and an overnight stay at Hotel Indigo Kensington.
Then I jumped on a flight to Barcelona to board Crown Princess for a cruise around the Mediterranean, docking at Marseille, Gibraltar, Genoa and Pisa. It was the most fun week I’ve had in such a long time, and it was due to the lovely people I travelled with.

Weekender in London with Theo – Me and Theo both lead very busy lives and despite trying not to, often lead very separate lives. This works for us, and we both love our own space, but every now and again we realise we need some quality time together and pick a place to visit for the weekend. Tour around the Med with Princess Cruises – Last month I was invited to join Crown Princess for a cruise in the mediterranean on their 7-night tour including stops at Barcelona, Marseille, Gibraltar, Genoa and Pisa. The main draw for me going on the trip was the destinations, and how effortless it was going to be visiting five cities in six days. I loved the thought of waking up in a new country everyday, and not having made the effort on a night bus or a 7-hour train journey. Continuing the weight loss with Cambridge Weight Plan – Since starting Cambridge Weight Plan back in July I have now lost a total of 31lbs (2 stone 3lbs) . I lost one stone in one month, and two stone in two months, but then with a cruise around the Med and struggling to get back on track I have plateaued losing only another 3lbs since. I plan to get back on track over the next month and lose my final stone to hit my target of 3 stone before the end of November! Ready for eating all that cheese over the Christmas break….
Healthy cooking JML Copper Stone Pan – Alongside my Cambridge Weight Plan, I have also been building back in normal meals so grabbed myself one of JML’s Copper Stone Pans (you may have seen the advert on TV!) which is an ultra non-stick technology with hardwearing base and dynamic heat dispersion. It’s also right on trend with the copper theme with wood-effect handle so it fits right at home in my country cottage kitchen. Last night I cooked my favourite Italian Chicken Pasta Bake!
A trip to The Cotswolds – The Cotswolds is a magical place. And only two hours from London, it’s hard to remember the hustle and bustle of the city, when you’ve entered the peaceful villages of The Cotswolds. The Cotswolds is one of my calm places. Beautifully rural, with rolling hills, stone villages, winter walks and a beer by the roaring fire in a local pub, but with easy accessibility from London. It is also becoming a foodie capital of the country with amazing pubs, restaurants and cafes popping up all over the region. Whether you fancy a good walk, pub lunch, or a pamper at a spa, there is no better place than The Cotswolds. READ FULL POST
