10 of the Best Dive Sites in the World

Once you’ve stuck your head under the water at a dive site, it is something that will stay with you forever. Discovering an underwater world is like nothing else on this planet and leaves you completely speechless. Whether you are a beginner or a Dive Master there is something magical about jumping in to the unknown and exploring a world that only in the last decade have we discovered so much about. Every time you jump in the water, it is like your first time again.

From coral reefs, caverns, deep caves and shipwrecks buried on the seabed, to majestic green turtles, thousands of beautiful, brightly-coloured fish and huge whale sharks, the experiences in the deep ocean are endless. I have been diving twice, once in Hardy Reef on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and once just off the coast of Ko Tao in Thailand.

The experience was utterly amazing and I was so overwhelmed by the whole experience that the minute I got out of the water the first time I just couldn’t wait to travel to another incredible dive site somewhere else in the world. Here are the recommended dive sites I want to try and those that have been recommended to me by fellow bloggers.

So, just grab your underwater camera and jump in. I promise you won’t regret it!
