Top 5 Summer Holiday Essentials

This month ensues a lot of travels for me, I have returned from a wonderful weekend in Morocco, next week I go to Mallorca to explore the wonderful country and then following I go to Crete. This means I am beginning to plan ahead and think about packing for my various trips, including my summer holiday essentials. I have so many products and brands that I love so I will try and pack them all in to this post!

  1. Travel bloggers tech kit

As every blogger knows no trip is a trip without your handy tech kit. On my travels I always end up taking my iPhone, HP laptop, Lumix pocket-size camera, DSLR Nikon camera, battery pack, TOMTOM Bandit and GoPro mount. It may seem like a lot at times but it enables me to great some great video footage and photos to upload to the blog and Instagram.

Following on from my tech list, a great digital camera can provide you with amazing photos that will last a lifetime. In order to get those wonderful photos, I would recommend a Panasonic Travel Camera such as a LUMIX DMC-TZ100EB. It is the ultimate travel companion with a 4 focus lens, high performance 1-inch sensor and powerful 10x optical zoom.

  1. Beautiful jewellery

I don’t wear a lot of jewellery, but I do like to take some beautiful jewellery with me when I go away. I good pair of earrings can make an outfit go a long way and a stunning necklace can bring together an outfit perfectly. This summer I am wearing silver diamond earrings with my outfits that I have from Topshop and I have some necklaces and rings from jewellery brand Her Curiosity.

  1. Sun protection

I am an ambassador for Ladival this summer, supporting the notion of protecting your skin. I will be taking away a collection of products to protect my skin including factor 50 Ladival sun protection, alongside my favourites NIVEA After Sun and skin moisturising cream.

  1. Summer hair products

As with protecting your skin, you also need to protect your hair and this is where summer hair care comes in. This summer I am using Paul Mitchell to provide me with hair care when I am in the sun. I have a dry shampoo, sea salt mist and moisturising conditioner to keep my hair smooth and sleek. I am also making sure I take my Batiste dry shampoo with me so my hair will be clean but also bold whilst away!

  1. Collection of books

There is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the pool or the beach and letting your mind escape in to a book. However, this summer I am also taking some fun books away with me including this one by Chris Santella which lists 50 incredible places to dive in the world, wanderlust inspiring 100 Places to Go Before They Disappear by Patrick Drew and a fun-filled book titled Advice From My 80-Year-Old Self by Susan O’Malley. All are available from Abrams & Chronicle Books.
