Lonely Planet has finally announced their Top 500 Places On Planet which has got every passionate traveller, like me, excited to see how many of these magnificent wonders we’ve been to but to also see which of them could be the next on our bucket lists.
Every attraction and destination that has been recommended by a Lonely Planet author over the last 40 years was up for consideration, before the narrowing down commenced. The Lonely Planet community was then asked to vote for their Top 20.
