This is going to be more photos than content as a picture really does say a thousand words in this incredibly amazing place. I don’t even want to try and put in to words how beautiful the Great Barrier Reef is, so I am not even going to try…
I’ll instead just quickly talk about which tour we went on, what it included and how much it cost and then speak about the experience in general. Then, scroll down and just look at how amazing it is via the photos!
Great Barrier Reef with Deep Sea Divers Den
Who? Deep Sea Divers Den
They have been operating on the Great Barrier Reef since 1974 and they are based in Cairns town centre near the marina. They offer a variety of trips from snorkelling, scuba diving, liveaboard trips and you can even do your PADI Dive Course with them.
Where to they go?
They go to the Norman, Saxon and Hastings Reef on the outer edge of the Barrier Reef which is approximately 70km offshore on their Sea Quest boat. They offers superb snorkelling and diving with an abundance of coral formations and marine life. You have a chance of seeing a variety of hundreds of marine life such a nemos, Turtles, Stingrays and Maori wrasse.
The super fast Sea Quest boat allows it’s divers at least four hours on the reef and they also offer free guided snorkelling tours if you would like to learn more about the marine life.
